Audacity Tutorial :: Making Beats
Step 1:
Go to www.looperman.com
Click on the register link on the left side navigation. Complete the registration form. Go to your email, copy your password, click on the login link, and login to the looperman members page.
Step 2:
Once you have registered go to the "Loops and Samples" page.
On the drop down menu go to "Drum Loops." Preview the beats and download one that you like
NOTE: Make sure that all of your beats and samples have the SAME TEMPO.

When you download a beat, save it to your "My Music" Folder, which is located in your "My Documents" folder.
Step 3:
Now do the same thing with an at least two instrumental tracks, and one vocal track.
NOTE: Make sure that all of your beats and samples have the SAME TEMPO.
Step 4:
Open up "Audacity" under the "Digital Arts" applications.
Save the file in your "My Music" folder or somewhere on your H Drive where you know where it is.
Step 5:
Start importing your beats. To do this go to Project > Import Audio (Crt + I).
Step 6:
We are going to make a beat that is about 30 seconds long. To do this we have to loop the samples that we downloaded.
Select on of the beats by dragging the cursor from the beginning to the end of one of the loops. Click the COPY button. Press the Right Arrow Key once. Press the PASTE button.

Step 7:
Repeat Steps 5 + 6 with all of your samples.
Step 8:
Make sure your project is saved. Now click on Export as MP3. Export to the same folder that your project is saved in.
Step 9:
Drag and drop your file into the Gordon~Z hand in folder. Rock On!
