Springbrook Summer Institute!

Overview

Springbrook High School’s Summer Institute is unique in its ability to equally combine both challenging academic courses with traditional pure summer fun. Not only do our students have an amazing time in classes, but they also leave the program with an additional confidence gained from a successful experience from a wide variety of topics. Meeting other diverse students who, like themselves, are interested in learning, the institute also provides a sense of belonging for participating students.

We have created this catalog to answer your anticipated questions, from course descriptions to course registration. Our friendly staff are always available to answer any questions that you may have.

Selecting Courses and Culminating Activities

All courses are one week in duration, and students are asked to select three courses (1 primary course and 2 back up courses. Courses that do not meet minimum enrollment will be cancelled. Some courses may offer an optional field trip during the week. Select courses will participate in a culminating activity during the final day of Summer Institute. This will give students an opportunity to showcase their work and parents an opportunity to view the exciting projects that students have created during the program. Look for more information about the culminating activity prior to the start of Summer Institute.
