Wrap Up From How to Be A Rockstar WordPress Developer Workshop
06.15.2009
Overview
The How To Be A Rockstar WordPress Developer Workshop has come and gone. We met four times, for three hours each session, learned a lot, put a good amount into practice, and ate a lot of good snacks (hummus sort of became an inside joke).
We had six attendees: two teachers, one high school web design student, and three higher education web students. Everybody came in with a different background—from very basic web HTML and CSS skills to fairly strong programmers. Only one attendee had a rich background with WordPress, but everyone shared an enthusiasm to learned more.

Testimonies
I wanted to share testimonies from a few of the attendees:
After taking the ‘How to be a Worpress Rockstar Workshop’, I feel confident that I could monetize the information and knowledge acquired. I would definitely suggest/recommend future workshops to friends and family.
~ John Gray
Everything was well explained, lots of resources provided, I will definitely recommend my friends to register.
~ Rolando Ponce De Leon
In just four weeks I felt comfortable saying “I can set up a wordpress installation and theme for you!”
What’s Next?
I will have another WordPress workshop later this year, an ExpressionEngine workshop in the fall, and a few more small Workshops in the coming months. Stay tuned, and feel free to let me know if there is a topic on which you would like to attend a workshop.
