Begin Working on “G” - The Problem
Directions for beginning to work on part "G" of the Internal Assessment.
- Read page 42 of the ITGS guide titled "Identifying a problem within a social context."
- Read the rubric for part "G" on page 45.
- Working in your groups, rewrite what you are supposed to do for section "G" into plain English - everyday language. Be sure to include the essential parts of what IB requires, but write in a way that is fluid and more conversational.
- In your groups share the problems you have come up with so far in your log books.
- Do not talk about solutions yet.
- Give each other feedback to ensure that each of your problems meets the requirements you set out in step 3.
- Take notes on what your group members share with you in your logbook (under the heading Todays Date "Identifying a problem within a social context.")
- Go back and reformulate your problems using the rubric in the ITGS guide.
- Go through one final phase of sharing, this time your group mates will give you a grade based on the rubric. Take notes on their feedback in your logbook.
