Interviewing Your Classmate
Interviewing your classmates will accomplish two objectives: review for G and practice for interviewing your client.
Directions for interview.
- Pick one classmate to work with.
- Take one microphone and a computer. Spread out a bit from your classmates.
- Plug in the microphone and check the settings under Microsoft Accessories > Volume.
- Decide who goes first.
- Introduce the interviewer and interviewee.
- Interview your classmate covering the following issues
- Your problem
- Your client
- End-Users
- Problem with your problem
- Thoughts about the project in general
- Make sure to use the techniques covered in the interviewing basics document.
- When you are finished with the two interviews, save them into the hand-in folder with the name of the interviewer in the filename.
