Interviewing Your Classmate

Interviewing your classmates will accomplish two objectives: review for G and practice for interviewing your client.

Directions for interview.

  1. Pick one classmate to work with.
  2. Take one microphone and a computer. Spread out a bit from your classmates.
  3. Plug in the microphone and check the settings under Microsoft Accessories > Volume.
  4. Decide who goes first.
  5. Introduce the interviewer and interviewee.
  6. Interview your classmate covering the following issues
    • Your problem
    • Your client
    • End-Users
    • Problem with your problem
    • Thoughts about the project in general
  7. Make sure to use the techniques covered in the interviewing basics document.
  8. When you are finished with the two interviews, save them into the hand-in folder with the name of the interviewer in the filename.
