Monitoring Your Time Project
Some Basic Guidelines for the Week:
- Eat - limit junk food, slow down when you are eating
- Sleep - try not to go to bed after 11. Better to wake up early
- Exercise - should exercise everyday
Instructions for the Project:
- Monitor the time you spend on the following in a spreadsheet: sleep, time in classes, time with co-curricular activities (clubs, sports), time exercising (if not with sports), time spent efficiently working for each class, time spent inefficiently working for each class, time spent eating in a hurry, time spent eating calmly, working, bum time, other (create your own categories).
- At the end of the week you should have a spreadsheet with the following information graphed for each day. Use the days as the horizontal axis, and how you are using your time as the vertical axis. Have a total for each column and row.
- Create visuals (graphs, pie chats, etc.) to show how you used you time in general, how much time total you worked on each class each day, and how much time you worked on school work on average each day. Create a visual showing how much time you work efficiently versus inefficiently in a week.
- The project will be due Monday
