RFID in all the Areas of Impact Assignment

RFID

You work for an IT think tank organization, and get paid big bucks to consult companies and organizations on how to use the latest and greatest advances in IT. From the position of an IT consultant, write a brief, yet informative email to your client explaining what RFIDs are, give them an example of a concrete way they can use RFIDs in their company or organization, discuss the social and ethical issues associated with RFIDs, and give them a link to a cool explanation, example, or video if they would like to learn more about the use of RFIDs in their field.

The skills for this assignment are writing a professional, informative, and persuasive email to an important decision maker within a large company, so make sure to check out this article on 20 Rules of Writing Effective Business E-Mails before you write your letter.

The technology you are learning about is RFIDs and how they apply to the various areas of impact.  I would recommend the "How RFID Works" article from HowStuffWorks.com.

Send your email to Mr. Gordon as well as two classmates who had a different area of impact.  Respond to the two people's emails as if you are the decision maker they sent the email too.  Carbon Copy (CC) your replies to Mr. Gordon as well.
