Welcome, my name is Zac Gordon and I am educator in the field of web design and development. I use this site to share information related to my professional web education work—from web design curriculum to workshop and conference information to my show Required Listening. It is my hope that the site will prove helpful for other web educators and students.
The name “DaBrook” comes from Springbrook High School, where I first started teaching web design in 1995. As far as I know, the word has no meaning in any language.
In addition to teaching, Zac also runs Rockville, MD‘s leading web design company and does experience design for the educational software company, Blackboard.
