About Zac Gordon and DaBrook.org

Zac Gordon runs DaBrook.org as a webucation resource for all students of the web. Zac teaches full time at Springbrook High School, in Silver Spring, MD. Springbrook has an unparalleled 4-year high school web program and also hosted the first annual Student Web Conference.
In addition to teaching at the high school level, Zac adjuncts at Montgomery College in Rockville, MD and the Center for Digital Imaging Arts in Georgetown, DC.
To help educate a wider audience and cover topics in more depth, Zac runs regular workshops on the WordPress and ExpressionEngine content management systems.
Professionally, Zac owns Wide Sky Designs, a local web design and development company that specializes in easy to update sites for small businesses. He has had the honor of hiring four former students in his eight years running his business.

The site runs on the ExpressionEngine publishing platform and an advanced Web Student Hosting plan via Liquid Web.
Since it was first launched it’s got a fresh design every year and it is constantly growing to include more courses and events.
Brandon Laugenberg designed the logo, a hand raised in the air in pursuit of asking (or answering) a question.
