Navigation List Inspiration

Today is block day and you should have all of the listutorials done at this point.

The activity today will be to find a navigation list that you like and try to duplicate it.

  • Find a navigation list you like
  • Use view source and the web developer toolbar to check out their markup and styling.
  •
  • Create a new folder called "list-inspiration" add a style and images folder inside of it, and create a new file called "index.html"
  • In the index.html file try to duplicate the list as best as possible.
  • Underneath of the list write an explanation about why you choose this list and add a link to the original list.

Warning: Stay away from Flash navigation bars and lists that use JavaScript (we’ll get to that later!)
